If you are if you are unsure of your
Registration Year

Registration ID, start up Backyard Bookie, go to Help /
About Backyard Bookie. Your Registration ID will be displayed and the year
can be found in the statement that says "Valid thru the year XXXX".

needed, we can generally
find your Registration ID in our sales database.

Renew Thoroughbred Edition through 2008 As an owner of Backyard Bookie
Thoroughbred Edition for 2003 thru 2007, you are entitled to renew your license
through the year 2008 for $14.95.
Please enter your name and your 13-digit Registration ID below
and click Upgrade. (Click here to
look up your ID from our records.) This process validates that you qualify for the upgrade price. When you purchase, you will
receive a new purchase confirmation e-mail that contains a new 2008 Regristration ID which you must enter into your system to make the software
fully functional (Use the File / Register function). We recommend that you
de-install and reinstall the software from the download link in your purchase e-mail, but it
may not be necessary.

Upgrade
from Thoroughbred Edition to the Premium Edition
Upgrading to the Premium Edition means that you can use the software every year
without renewal. The Premium Edition also gives you more flexibility in
using the software for events other than the four supported Thoroughbred events.
The price is $39.95.

Upgrading to the latest maintenance version of the Thoroughbred
Edition
If you already own a 2007 Registration ID, you can upgrade to the latest
maintenance version of the software by following the steps below.
First , you need to de-install your current Backyard Bookie
Thoroughbred Edition program.
- Make sure you have your
Registration ID. To get your ID, open your existing Backyard Bookie
program and click the Help / About Backyard Bookie menu item. Your
registration ID will be displayed to you.
- Click "Start" , then "Settings",
then "Control Panel", then "Add/Remove Programs"
Select "Backyard Bookie
Thoroughbred Edition", and click
Add/Remove button
Second ,
download the latest version of Backyard
Bookie - Thoroughbred Edition.
Third,
install the latest version of Backyard
Bookie
-
Thoroughbred
Edition:
- At the WINDOWS desktop, Click START
on the taskbar.
- Click the RUN entry within
the pop-up window.
- Click the BROWSE button to locate
the BackyardBookieTEZip.exe file.
- Click the OK button.
- The WinZip Self-Extractor dialog box will
appear, Click the SETUP button.
- The Backyard Bookie setup screen will
appear, Click the OK button.
- Select a target installation
directory. The default target installation directory is C:\Program
Files\BackyardBookieTE\. The BROWSE button gives you the option to select a different
installation directory.
- After the desired installation directory is
selected, Click the INSTALLATION icon. (The icon is located in the upper
left-hand corner.)
- Click the OK button.
Congratulations! You have
successfully completed the installation.

Upgrade to the latest
maintenance version of the
Premium Edition
First,
you need to de-install your current Backyard Bookie
program.
- Make sure you have your Registration ID.

Second, download the latest version of Backyard
Bookie - Premium Edition.
Third, install the new Backyard
Bookie program:

- Click the OK button.
